Target Uses the ‘F’ Word

Yes, they said it: frugal. Check out what I received in the mail yesterday:

Although Target has always been a major source for thrifty shoppers, it was nice to see that they’re jumping on-board with the “spend less” movement of the recession. It seems like everyone is jumping on board with the movement: Vogue’s picks are dropping into the hundred rather than thousand dollar range, brides are realizing their weddings aren’t worth going into debt for, and Oprah even put Nate on a budget!

The recession might cause of much of the stress in my life, it’s refreshing to finally be in a place in time where I can be loud and proud about my frugal spending habits. Have you noticed how even the wealthiest fashionistas will brag about saving on their designer purses and shoes? I think I might actually be on-trend with this one!
