A Centsational Project
>> 12.02.2009
I just flew in from my Thanksgiving trip to Western North Carolina last night (so fun!) and after jumping my car’s dead battery (not fun) and getting some much-needed sleep, I’m back to catch up on comments and emails (Could you tell my last two posts were scheduled? Hmm…probably).
I couldn’t contain my excitement this morning when I found out that while I was away, I was lucky enough to be featured on one of my very favorite thrifty décor blogs!!! I know it’s a little late, but I’d like to send a giant thankyou to Centsational Girl for featuring a thrifty tree trimming idea of mine last Friday!
I used simple materials:
Scissors: free (already owned)
Fishing wire: $6 (do you know anyone who likes to fish?)
Beads: $2/ tube at bead store
Paperclips: free (might or might not have come from work)
Total: $10… with plenty of materials left over for future projects!
Time: about 10 minutes per five-strand hook or 1-2 hours
Talk about bang for your buck!

Now, on to catch up on those 282 posts sitting in my Google Reader…

Congrats! It's so exciting to be featured in another blog!
Good luck catching up on those posts in google reader. I didn't check mine for a couple days last week either and it took me forever to catch up on everything.
Love this idea! You can never get enough sparkle. :)
