I’m not sure I could have had a better weekend… we sold two giant pieces of furniture that were crowding the garage, I finished up some grouting work that was haunting me in the kitchen, Nate added two shelves to our closet project, we both set PR’s (personal records) in a half marathon, and I bought a TON of boxes on clearance at Home Depot.
Seriously, I bought a crazy number of boxes.
Then I went back and bought more boxes.
But they were marked down so much... even better than IKEA's prices! I mean, you would have made two trips too, right? (Okay, I made three trips... but they were sold out by the last one.)
…and they have classy metal rims.
For $38, I bought $198 worth of boxes.
… and we could really use some organization around here!

We have the same ones in white and green. I LOVE them! We have files, magazines, cd's, dvd's, games.... anything and everything in them!
What a differance, I guess I'm crossing my fingers I can get some boxes too at agreat prices tonigh.

@Mrs Chic~ Thanks, it's one of my all time favorite thrift store finds! I would have posted a better shot of it all, but there was a nasty glare coming off of the glass. I hope your store still has them in stock, it's always worth looking through the clearance sections when you're in!
I'm addicted, too! Looks like I'll be making a trip to Home Depot this afternoon (I was just there last night!).

@Katie~ Yep, all of it. The crazy box mess in the livingroom shot doesn't even include all of the magazine boxes I bought!
I hope everyone has luck finding them at their Home Depots! I tried to give some people head starts by tweeting about my find on Saturday.
I must be a boxaholic too!! Those boxes are ADORABLE! I want to go get a bunch. I hope the sale is still on!!

Well, darn it! I didn't have any luck. I tried two HD's in our area but their storage section is pretty lacking (mostly plastic storage bins). It looked like ours never carried them. SIGH!

That is an insanely good deal on those boxes, and they are really nice looking! I probably would have stocked up too. I love pretty storage. I just bought some magazine holders and they make such a difference! Congrats on your productive weekend!

wow those boxes look great! Your before picture is how our Ikea cube bookshelves look a lot of the time. May have to check out Home Depot too!
My problem is that I like pretty boxes so much more than the act of actually putting things in them. Ach.
