First, I'd like to thank everyone who shared their ideas of what to do with
my mess-o-wood (I'd still love to hear your opinions)! I'm going to take a bit to absorb all of the ideas, but it looks like no matter what decisions I make, there's going to be some painting and/ or staining going on! That's where the 'needy' comes in... oh, and you!
I remember reading and commenting on your great furniture staining/ painting experiences, but I didn't save the links to any of them! If you could, will you
please add your staining/ painting post links into the MckLinky so that I can go back and prepare myself for my own adventures? This isn't an official 'party' so I don't expect you to link back... just share a post if you think it will be helpful or inspirational. I'll be sure to check them out (and I'm sure some of my other blog-friends will as well). Thanks!

Kasey, I don't really have a painting or staining play-by-play to link to, however if you are painting I highly recommend using BIN primer. It will ensure a good adhesion and finish. Also, sand in between coats of primer and paint for an ultra-smooth finish! It sucks to work with, but you will not be disappointed! If you do use it, use old brushes because it can destroy them....and STOCK UP on denatured alcohol!
I don't have any play-by-plays either, but I posted some before and afters just for fun. I am so excited to see what you do!!
I love that you made a McLinky for this. I cannot wait to see everything. =)
