Remember how I planned on using a Cash for Appliances rebate towards a new refrigerator? Well, the rebate reservations began this morning at 7 AM... kinda.
They told us to keep trying, but the phones and website were both kicking people off left and right.
I was like many others who couldn't get through at all. After two hours of redials and page refreshing (without result)... I finally got in on the giant Twitter discussion:

This story is still "to be continued..." I'll be sure to update this post if I ever end up with a rebate! *sigh* The trouble I'll go through to save a little cash...
(1:21 PM) UPDATE: After six hours, I finally earned a rebate form through the website!! Oh, and someone attacked me on Twitter for getting it... go figure...

Ugh. They've had MONTHS to get this set up properly!
I just looked at Virginia's plan. For the washing machine I want, I could get $75...if I apply on April 28th and buy within 60 days.
I've heard there's a floor sample sale at Home Depot right now, so I might not wait for the $75. Hm.
